I was playing in SSX tricky. First map had a few minor slowdowns (80%-100%), but was still playable. I load up the second map, and the speed has yet to stay above 20%, even while paused.

Same thing is happening in Wind Waker. The game played fine, until a certain point, when the game slowed down to unplayablely low.

Unsure of what the problem is, so don't know where to start looking. (And google was little help.)

Windows 7 x64
Processor: Intel i7-3610 @ 2.30GHz
RAM: 8.00GB
DirectX 9
VCard: Nvidia GeForce GT 630M

If anything else is needed, just let me know.

2.3GHz CPU is slow for most games , it doesn't matter if you have i7 or not
i7 has turbo boost function which will boost the CPU to 3GHz or higher For more info , read here
However ...If the CPU overheat , turbo boost function will be disabled -> Dolphin will run slow
Also make sure Dolphin use Nvidia GPU , not Intel HD

Turbo boost will stay about 3.1/3.2Ghz when you play with Dolphin, I've got the same CPU. It's pretty powerful, all my games are playable.
