Anyway the Dolphin Projects already profits from the google ads. As I said, actually it is only a test and everything what will happen in future will depent on the administrators of Dolphin.

Shame on you Apostacious for doubting this fine young business man!

This is strange, emulator is free, yet alone you have to buy stuff for it from related shop. There wouldn't have been any problem if it wasn't related... It may partially break Dolphin's GNU license, unless you'll have the permission to continue your work

Wow, really? you used our logo? I'm gonna ask nicely for you to stop. This is not related to dolphin project in any way. Nothing bought there will contribute to the project. We "ector and I" talked to the owner in a respectful way and declined to sponsor him. I will quote my email. Honestly, ector was going to bring it up with the devs and talk about it but this shoots any chance you will ever have with being official with us. I think a public shaming is in order. SHAME SHAME!

I do appreciate you thinking about us and offering to help support are project. It is very kind. However, as a opensource self sustaining project, we would like to stay away from anything other then ad's with google. Well thats not 100% true as the project gains from the google advertising as it does from any other google ad.

Well there was further email communication from my site witch is not posted here. I worte that also it would be possible (if its complicate for the project to recive money) to sponsor the developers with free wii hardware cause i notice that even developers that work on multi wimote support do not have 4 wii motes. Or even with server hardware, datacenter hosting or anything else. My engagement to the dolphin project is based on positive thinking. I do not want something bad for anyone.

I want to say I'm verry sorry that my only-12-hours performance test did frighten you so much. As I said changes will be made in only 4 hours. Chris may I ask you to take my private email and msn adress out of our post? Thank you. Hope you are able to excuse me. I really want to be in friendship with you and the project.

Dear ector, Dear chaoscode,

i really ask you to accept my excuse. When you said that it is a problem for the Dolphin Project to accept donations at the moment thought it would be a good idea to support the developers with hardware. For example a free wiimote for the developers after sold 5-8 Wii Remotes sold i the shop. It was a fault of mine to make this convertion rate test with the dolpin logo. And i already said sorry in here several times. The statistics show that only arround 100 people may have seen the Dolphin-Shop Logo. Remeber you have over 4 Million visitors. That is a very small amount. I see it was a fault now, but I did not expect that much negative reaction because I had only positive things for the project in mind.

Of cause I canged the logo immedeatelly when I read Chaoscodes post. I had a important appointment today morning. So there were only 4 hours between reading the post and changing the Store.

You both seem very mad on me. I dont like the role of the bad guy - I'm not feeling myself as a ad guy. Anyway i said - and will say - sorry for using the logo for 12 hours without a true permission. I did never wanted to put a damage to dolphin or to one of its members. The opposite was my intention.

I know Zilmar uses N64 part store ads on his site, if we knew a shop that sold Wii parts and stuff, could get payed for advertising their store.
