Hello,

I'm new here. i am not sure if my topic is valid. I used the search function but cannot find the answer for my cpu.

I've got a amd a6-3650 cpu, with intergrate APU.
Got 4gb of mem and i run windows 7 ultimate x64.

I am going to use 3.0-688 64-bit.

Controller: wireless 360 controller for windows (working already in windows)

My cpu can run games, but wich settings must i use for my system.
Games i have are:

Super mario galaxy 2
Super smash brother
Kirby's (latest game)
Sonic (latest game)

I am no expert on the subject but from previous posts I have read using the AMD APU's will not get you very far in Dolphin. I am not suggesting you will not be able to play any game, but SMG, SSBB and Kirby will likely see slowdowns if they are even at playable speeds. Feel free to correct me if I am off.

This game is very CPU heavy due to the fact that you have to use LLE to prevent audio issues and crashes in the Grand Star levels.
Your CPU won't be enough to play the game at 90-100%.

Brawl?
You should be able to play this pretty well. Keep in mind that some stages are heavier than others, and with the addition of playing multiplayer, the load gets even higher.

g.scholtens Wrote:Kirby's (latest game)
Should work perfect.

g.scholtens Wrote:Sonic (latest game)
Which game exactly?

In any case, take a look at the Dolphin Wiki to get an idea of how certain games play with different types of hardware. It also might give you an idea of settings that might help.

Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Smash Brothers Brawl (Assuming you're playing all Wii games)
Kirby's Return to Dream Land
Sonic Colors

Also, don't use the performance guide from this website, if that's what you mean by "settings from the config guide", that's outdated info. Test these games and see how they work out, then give us your settings if you think something needs to be changed.

Llano is just 5% faster than Phenom II clock for clock
Core 2 duo is 5-10% faster than Phenom II
2.6Ghz CPU won't cut it but you'll be fine on non-demanding games such as NSMB , Muramasa , Brawl ....

is it possible to set every game with its own config? Or are the config settings general?

You can modify the .ini file of each game (Dolphin folder/User/GameConfig)
