I've been searching around on if it is possible convert a Dolphin game save file into Wii format. I know you can do it the other way around, but I'm only doing this as a work around for Muramasa - English version.

Anyone that plays Muramasa to the end of either heroes will run into the "Pond lock-up." The JPN work around will not work for the English version, I've tried already. I had planned on importing the dolphin save data on to the wii and getting past that part in the game so that I can finally progress.

Sorry if there was a topic on conversion already. I tried searching a bit and have been working at this for hours. Thank you Smile

can't you just upload the files from the save folder to the wii 1 by 1? (note, needs a softmodded wii which can run homebrew)

The tool in my topic also has an option for packing saves. Just follow the tutorial backwards
(I haven't tried this, you may need some wii app to transfer the save to your wii)

I appreciate the response, but it doesn't quite work that way. I started playing through Dolphin and it only creates a "banner.bin" and "save.dat"
If you try to pack it, you will get an error.

Problem solved. I used Waninkoko's SaveGame Manager instead and it imports/exports the file into the same format as Dolphin. No conversion necessary. Thanks for the advice though. Smile

Hello,
I took a savegame from Super Paper Marion on my unmodded Wii, converted it with "FE100 0.1b Save unpacker" and finished it on the PC. I want to copy that savegame back to the wii, but don't even really know how to start. I can't find a windows .exe version of Waninkoko's savegame manager and the Wiimedia Savegame Manager finds the correct folders with the dolphin savegames, but says "This game cannot be identified. No information can be displayed.".

Code:
This is what the folder structure of my savegames looks like:
