Dolphin's suddenly lagging and locking up

Dolphin was running all compatible games I have at 100% until I downloaded version 4.0-5827 today. Since then I have been experiencing a lot of locking up and freezing with every game I try to play. I still have version 4.0-5429 on my PC too. Could having both versions on the PC at the same time be causing a conflict? I have not changed any of Dolphin's settings, nor have I updated any drivers or made any other changes to my PC. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

So does the old version mess up too or is it fine?

It's both versions. And every game I try to play.

After closing Dolphin, try deleting the Documents\Dolphin Emulator folder. Restart Dolphin and see if the problem is still there.
