Maybe our new logo can be a GameCube with a dolphin diving into it?
For theme, I'd like the games to run in the same window as the iso menu, like they used to. Not really theme related but something I'd like back.
Specs in profile.

I just don't want to end up making Dolphin look like some artist playground. Anyway, application icons aren't meant to be something done in 5 minutes. There are various criteria of how application icons should be designed but I won't get into this now because I really shouldn't have to explain this 10-29-2012, 06:53 AM

Actually a new logo would be very nice because we're not sure who have the rights to the "dolphin" logo (the one in the header of this forum), so we can't reuse it for the new website and forums.

That's what I thought too so I only wanted it to be fair bringing up the question. New upcoming release, new website and new forum. What better way is there then to make new logos and icons for the whole package. 10-29-2012, 10:56 PM
I'd rather have a dolphin icon in my taskbar than a silhouette of Mario in a blue square. I feel this would help keep things more consistent than having multiple logos.

Rights? It's a dolphin. No one can have the rights for that. Or are you referring to that specific logo... was it lifted from somewhere? If so, someone could just make a new one.
