So, last night I was trying to do some funny stuff with Cheat Engine on Sonic Adventure DX. I changed the values so that the audio sounded really high pitched and corrupted. With Cheat Engine, the results should be only temporary. However when I played another game, Super Mario Galaxy, after closing the emulator and opening it up again, the audio remained intact. Then I tried installing the newest development version of Dolphin only to find the problem still standing. I have no clue what to do and I'm pretty bummed out about it.

Does changing the Audio Backend help?
You are using Windows 10 and AFAIK it has the "fastboot". Did you tried "slowboot"? (I've never really used W10, so i can't say where you can do that) 07-14-2016, 10:05 PM
…why would restarting your system help if the problem is that the cheat is still active in Dolphin?
I'm not sure if cheats are supposed to be cleared (if they are, and they aren't being cleared, it's probably a bug), but try resetting your Dolphin configuration. 07-14-2016, 10:13 PM

Cheat Engine doesn't add cheats to Dolphin, and cheats in Dolphin don't carry over across games. Resetting the Dolphin configuration could be worth a try, though. 07-14-2016, 11:29 PM
