Dolphin Running Slower After a Few Months

Hello,

I havent ran Dolphin since early spring(April) is. Ive been trying to play again and a couple games are so slow they are unplayable. NCAA football 04 and 05 lag severely, usually under 40FPS. I have tried switching to OpenGL and Directx11 and 12, nothing I seem to do in the settings seems to make any difference. I played the game in the spring fine. I have an Intel I5-8250U which is clocking at 3.2-3.4 while Im playing, but the game is still lagging. I have played the game fine on a slower I3 before so I am not sure what is going on.

I was able to play NASCAR Dirt to Daytona fine last night so I am pretty lost on what to do.

I am fairly noob-ish with computers as is so any help is appreciated

Have you updated dolphin since then? Is your computer plugged in / in high performance mode?

I just set the PC visuals for Max performance, I have integrated graphics set for max performance now and my processor is set for 100% in the battery settings, I couldnt find any other options to change.

I run task manager while I am playing and my speed is usually over 3ghz and less than 40% CPU utilization but the games are still really choppy. I have Dolphin 5.0, should I try the updated versions?
