Didn't really have this problem emulating gamecube, but now that I'm emulating Wii I'm having a hard time getting a steady 60FPS in fullscreen. When I alt-enter and play in windowed mode, the game runs flawlessly in 60FPS, but as soon as I go back into fullscreen I get drops. I'm playing on a 4K TV. I have v-sync turned on. GTX1080 i5.

What are your settings? What VPS are you getting? Does it go over 60 FPS in windowed if you hold tab?

Turn off vsync.

If it's off in Dolphin, it's being forced on somewhere in your GPU driver stack.

Okay I'll try that when I get home, but won't that cause screen tearing?

It may, but your system isn't handling vsync with Dolphin very well.

Dolphin is known for being very finicky with vsync.

Also if you have Auto Internal Resolution, the higher resolution going into fullscreen could cause it, too.

EFB2RAM can easily cause slowdown going from 2x IR to 3x IR on a GTX 1070 due to stalls.

Ok so I turned off V-Sync and I am getting a fairly steady 60FPS in full screen. Thanks! Unfortunately there is some minor screen tearing going on now :/ The funny thing is I don't see the screen tearing in windowed mode, only in full screen. Anyone have any ideas? On how to eliminate the screen tearing?
