Hello, Im new here I just wanted to see if someone could help me out with my problem. I recently got myself a Red Magic 6 Pro which has A snapdragon 888 and 16 gb of Ram.. From what I've seen this phone is very capable of GameCube/Wii Emulation... and so I Installed the latest version of dolphin on the google play store, enabled Vulkan in the settings and tried to run a game (Wind Waker) only to find out that I can't run anything with Vulkan in this emulator no matter which version I use... Wether it be Dolphin Beta, Development or Even Dolphin MMJR. I always get an error stating "Failed to submit Command buffer" after starting the game or any other... Running anything in Open GL seems really slow or unplayable at points. I just dont understand how to fix this, or if its even possible to fix at all... Id really appreciate it if anyone can help with this error cause my endless google searching has not helped honestly. Thanks.

My guess is software bugs, as nubia’s software is as buggy as can be. Pray for software updates would be my recommendation, as while it might be fixable on the dolphin end, if it’s actually a device specific bug I don’t think they will accommodate. I would recommend trying to test further, possibly enable and check logs to see what is breaking. 06-29-2021, 09:30 AM

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to understand why it works for everyone else in youtube videos but on my end as a user its basically completely non functional... My best guess is it probably might be the software/firmware version, maybe something was changed with Vulkan drivers or the the other graphics drivers maybe... The version of Vulkan reported by the app OpenGL Extensions Viewer says I have Vulkan 1.1.128 which is apparently the most recent version for mobile devices. |
