I recently bought a Mayflash Dolphinbar so that i could connect a real Wii Remote to my MacBook (since the computer itself won't connect it), and so i can accurately emulate the pointer function. I know what you're going to say- doesn't DolphinBar only on Windows computers? Well, if you try to connect just the DolphinBar to a MacBook, that will obviously never happen given the way the laptop is designed. But my MacBook (which was given to me by the online college i'm currently in) came with this plugin that lets me connect usb devices that otherwise would not ever be able to be plugged into the 'Book, including my DolphinBar. Outside of the Dolphin emulator, it works just fine, as i've noticed pointing a Wiimote at it lets me use it as a substitute for a mouse. But for some reason, i can't get it to work on the emulator- the whole reason i bought this thing in the first place. I've set it to the proper setting, i've whitelisted both the Dolphinbar and the adapter it's connected to, and yet i still get a message saying "Could not find any usable Bluetooth USB adapter for Bluetooth Passthrough. The emulated console will now stop.". Because i've whitelisted the devices and my MacBook itself recognizes i have the DolphinBar plugged in, Dolphin should be able to let me use it for the emulator, right?
So why am i getting this message? Is there something i'm missing? Should i just return my $30 DolphinBar to Amazon? Any help is appreciated.
(please ignore those "" thingies. i copy-and-pasted the error message and i didn't see those things until after i posted nor do i know why they're there)
Update: i figured out how to fix this issue. Can someone tell me how to delete posts?
