Dolphin refuses to detect Wiimote

Alright, so I'm at wit's end here.

Dolphin (4.0-3239) doesn't seem to detect my Wiimotes. Any of them. First I tried connecting one (a plain-old Wii Remote: Official Nintendo, no plus) through my adapter. This seemed to have no effect whatsoever (not listed in devices or anything, though the Bluetooth wizard claimed it was successful). So I came onto the forums here to figure out what I was doing wrong. That's when I read that you're supposed to just synch the Wiimote directly to Dolphin. This ALSO had no effect.

At this point I'm not sure what I should do, so I figured someone may be able to help me. Worth a try, anyways.

Oh, one more thing I forgot: The "Add Bluetooth Device" wizard doesn't seem to recognize the Wiimote as a Wiimote. It just says "Input device." I'm starting to think this may be related.

Assuming you're using Microsoft BT stack, just enable continuous scanning in Dolphin and boot your game. While the game is running, just press 1+2 in your wiimote and let the magic happen...

Unfortunately, this is what doesn't work. The Wiimote and Dolphin don't seem to detect each other, and I can't figure out why. The Wiimote just does the thing where the lights flash while it tries to connect, but it never does.

In that case your BT dongle may not have enough bandwidth. Try another BT adapter, if possible...

Make sure you remove anything you set in the operating system. That can prevent Dolphin from connecting with the wiimote.

And any adapter that's Bluetooth 2.0/2.1 EDR and up should work.
