PC specs: AMD FX 6300, GTX 1060 6GB SSC, 8GB RAM

Emulator used: Dolphin - latest developer build

Description: Had troubles getting computer to recognize Wiimote with BT adapter. Got it to work. Have it set to Real Wiimote Setting. Tested it out in Skyward Sword (was able to show up and works perfectly), but other games like Wii Sports or Mario Galaxy, the cursor doesn't move or appear.

I am not sure what to do at this point. Is it worth it to purchase the Dolphin Bar? Would that alleviate the issue? Do I need to add my USB Bluetooth adapter to the Whitelisted USB Passthrough Devices? When I used Passthrough in controller config, it crashed Dolphin and unmounted my BT adapter, causing me to restart the computer - which then re-mounted the BT adapter.

If you don't already have a sensor bar, you need a sensor bar for the cursor to work. (Though I'm not sure how you manged to make Skyward Sword start without having a working cursor...) If you already have a working Bluetooth setup that you want to continue using, make sure to buy a sensor bar that isn't a DolphinBar. (Some DolphinBars, depending on the hardware and firmware, won't work as sensor bars unless you're using their Bluetooth connectivity.)

Should I go back and use the regular version of Dolphin 5? I am currently using the latest dev build. Would you recommend I just purchase the Dolphin Bar on amazon and go through that instead? Would I need to uninstall my Bluetooth adapter or can they just coexist without interfering? Thanks for getting back to me.

Zelda SS uses the Motion Plus controls to detect the movements, so it does not _rely_ on the sensor bar, but the game uses it for calibration so you should still have a sensor bar.
Your bluetooth seems to work fine, so you don't need the Dolphin bar. Instead, I'd recommend a simple wireless sensor bar (sold at GameStops and pretty much everywhere). The sensor bar is only a coulple of infrared led's positioned at the ends of the bar, to let the wiimote know where the TV is positioned. You can even use two candles to mimic the sensor bar.
Dolphin bar, instead, is connected with USB to computer and it takes care of everything (the sensor bar's leds, and the connection between Wiimote-Dolphin). But it is more expensive. And I heard the LED's may burn out, at least with older firmwares(?).

(09-15-2017, 02:13 AM)Hello, I am also having difficulty connecting wiimote to dolphin 5.011991. I connected via bluetooth passthrough but no cursor is showing up for skyward sword even with a sensor bar connected. I am using a third party wiimote though so I am replacing with an official wiimote to see if it fixes the issue. stayfrosty426 Wrote: PC specs: AMD FX 6300, GTX 1060 6GB SSC, 8GB RAM
