Dolphin r5778 broke RE0 shadow effects.
r5778 Log message Author rodolfoosvaldobogado

fixed blending in dx9 and dx11
fixed fps counter in all the plugins
enjoy.

Because of this the characters have no more shadow.

r5777 The shadow works perfectly.

But until today r6141 does not set it (maybe because nobody has told the developers).

This happens with Direct3D9 and direct3D11.
OpenGL works in the shadow even the newest (r6141).

The developers monitor the issues log more frequently than the forum so check if the issue exists and create a new one if it doesn't:

And this annoying issue remains (and it works much better with vsync on older versions)
That issue appeared some builds before r6000....

Skid here is a screenshot of the problem that arose in r5778 (r5777 Shadow works perfect).

r5777 shadows perfect

r5778 shadow probem

rodolfoosvaldobogado should revert r5778 (fixed blending in dx9 and dx11
fixed fps counter in all the plugins). fps counter is not better than the shadow in RE0, should reverse this rev (5778) immediately.
Or fix it somehow.
Could someone please create an issue about it.

Can't promise anything, but is this fixed in r6310?

EDIT: ofc, r6310 was a dx11 related change so only for that plugin this issue would be fixed.

Unfortunately still no shadow in RE0 since r5778.
