I really enjoyed reading the July Progress report and am going to try Xenoblade Chronicles one more time to see how good that feature was in improving the game.

Love the blogs, just wanted to offer a small bit of feedback:
While the gifs/videos are useful they can be really distracting while trying to read the nearby text. I would love to be able to pause all of media in the blogs. July's blog supports this with the Sonic Heroes and Boom Blox videos, but the Community room on fire and Android touch joystick gifs do not. Often I wind up deleting the image element just to get rid of the visual noise once I've watched it once or twice. 08-02-2018, 12:33 PM
the fire one was due to the fact I didn't have the CSS knowledge to embed a Gfycat to the side like that.
The GCPAD one was too long to use their service. 08-02-2018, 08:27 PM
The Dolphin Progress Report: July 2018 was awesome! Glad to see the Boom Blox issue fixed! Could somebody close https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/7813 and this thread as a result https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-em...ssues-7813 ?

I like the grid view! However, it would be great if if could be sorted like the list view, especially sorted by system. (and maybe a slider for zooming in and out; the control plus +/- thing will be unknown to people who didn't read this progress report)
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk
Yeah the grid view is quite nice, but as said it is not really useful as of now since:
1a) You would have to know the hotkey combination for zooming in and out, which is not shown in the GUI. 1b) There is no alternative to the hotkey combination for zooming in and out, such as a slider. 1c) The hotkey combination for zooming in and out is not precise enough, which a slider could easily fix. 2) The zoom level is not saved when re-opening Dolphin. 3) Sorting in grid view does not work the same way as in list view. 4) Zooming out makes the covers increasingly worse in quality, which makes them too hard too view. 5) The game title has a too small font, especially when zooming out which makes it almost unreadable.
Quick question: Why is the July report posted on the 7th of July, before the Myth Debugging article which was posted on the 27th of July? (I realize it's a bug, I'm just drawing your attention to it).
Also the chart at https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2018/08/01/...by-techjar seems to be trying to display additional information when I mouse over it but the on-hover box uses feint/hard-to-read font? I'm using this Page Style with the Stylus add-on for Firefox 61.0.1 for Windows: https://userstyles.org/styles/81063/dolphin-emu-dark

I'm not a coder, so, I can't answer your questions on what's going on with the boxes. It's supposed to give you the exact numbers if you hover over a group of bars, which is what it does for me in Chrome.

Woohoo! You guys did a great job on the report yet again!

I mean it does, it's just that the font is almost white in the white box... making it nearly impossible to even notice the text existing.
