Regarding the RTC option, does the GC support timezones, and if so, what timezone does the RTC option tell the GC it's using? If there aren't any timezones, then I would guess it's just treated as local time, or possibly GMT...

There are no timezones on the GC. The custom RTC function works like setting the time on a real GC – the time you set is the time you get, with no automatic changes for daylight saving time or moving between timezones.

Hah, I like to imagine some Zelda TP dev sitting there right now reading this progress report and grinning from ear to ear

"5.0-464 and 5.0-466 - Further Depth Fixes by Armada"
Shouldn't you use GIF or APNG for demonstrating Z-Fighting? As is, the comparison is a really bad comparison! Also the page is scaling the preview of the images hilariously badly. "5.0-480 - Allow Texture Samples from 0x0 by Armada651" The GIF animation is animating way too fast here, in Firefox 48.0.2 Windows 10 x64. Only seems to be an issue with the embedded version. When clicking an image preview to view the fullsize version of it Firefox will often require me to refresh and re-refresh the image to get it to 100% download because it will often stop without loading the whole image. I assume this is a server configuration issue. It will load from top to bottom the image and then after downloading a bit of the image it will just fill the rest with black space, refreshing the image will let it load a bit more before filling the rest with black space... repeatedly refreshing lets it load a bit more each time until finally the whole image is downloaded!

With the zfighting issue, we wanted to show just how minor of a difference it was. Perhaps we went too far; since we knew what it looked like we knew what to look for. It seems for users who don't know what they're looking for things aren't working so well.
I'll see if I can't correct it. The GIF is animating fine for me, so I can't do anything about that. I don't see the other server issues... 09-03-2016, 10:17 AM
Never expected I would be in there
I'm happy to provide fixes for the debugger 09-03-2016, 01:27 PM
That whole TP mirror issue was a great read. Intentional or not, reading a texture from 0x0 seems like something only a few crazy people would even attempt to do. It's that type of shenanigans I'd expect from Camelot or Factor 5 (though kudos to Factor 5 for making it into the Progress Report yet again).
