I would like to make a portable version as was done in the past.

many applications that were previously installable now have the option of being portable. example : videolan , wireshark, ...
besides cleaning the windows registry as possible you would be nice to import our configuration to play in another team and not having to re- configure all
Thanks team

If you are using Windows, create a file with the name portable.txt in the same folder as Dolphin.exe.

Please download Dolphin from the official website, https://dolphin-emu.org/download/. The stable versions (for example 4.0.2) use installers, and the development versions only need to be extracted.

EDIT: Ninja'd =/

Please don't link to that website. It's not official and it's stealing ad revenue from us. The official site is https://dolphin-emu.org, get your builds here.

Now, about making Dolphin portable, you can simply create a portable.txt file next to Dolphin.exe, like JosJuice mentioned. There's also more details and other ways to do that in our guide

If you want something more specific, to run in different paths and different computers, you could also try my (unofficial) portable edition, it's based in PortableApps specification and also handle changes into file paths and the required DLLs that you need (and that may be missing in the target computer). It's veeeeeeery old but should still work with current builds (and I also have plans to do another update to it when the next stable release come out)...
