Are there any games in particular that I would have trouble running? What can I do to run dolphin at full speed? The only think I could think of is opt for the i7-2600k because from what I hear dolphin is just very CPU demanding.

The 2600k upgrade won't do much for dolphin itself I think, though I personally would be interested in that one for better video encoding and recording gameplay footage. Just overclock the hell out of the 2500k and you will have, at the moment, pretty much the best way to play dolphin that is available on current(and reasonable) tech.

What obscured meant it that no hardware can exists that can run every game at fullspeed all the time with proper settings on dolphin. However an overclocked 2500k is the closest you can get right now without paying extra for features that dolphin won't use (hyper-threading, 6 cores, etc.).

Ya..just oc that 2500k to around 4ghz and most games should run fine with maybe some slow down here and there or solely due to not emulating properly. Your spec can't really improve with a 2600k in regards with Dolphin.

Thermaltake PSU? Nope.
160GB HDD? Nah bro.

XFX Radeon HD 6850 1GB
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600

Got all this for $588 total. I'll probably get a Corsair A50 CPU cooler before putting it together.

Don't forget to get a good PSU(I STRONGLY recommend Corsair,Seasonic or Antec.),a CD/DVD drive/burner,a great and big case and make sure to get the Spinpoint F3R(That are RAID compatible)and not the standard F3.

You could also get the Ripjaws X instead of the Sniper if you want to save a little money.
