Ok, here is the question, I'm playing at 60fps Mario Galaxy 2 on my i3 with HT disabled, which means 2 cores, so my problem is that randomly, the emu uses 100% in both cores and the emulation become reallly slow, like 30 fps or maybe less, it's like slow motion, but it's just for a few seconds, then returns to normal, is this a bug on Dolphin or it's my computer? This doesn't happens when I enabled my HT in the bios O_o

It may mean that your processor isn't so stable. If you run SMG with 60 fps, with an I3 it's obvious that you're overclocking, and the processor can't take it.

Do you have anything running in the background? How do you know it's Dolphin that is intermittently using those extra resources?

You are right, I think that the problem could be Kapsersky 2011, I'm going to disabled the av before running Dolphin and see what happens Tongue

If it was unstable the system would either shut off or he would have some kind of horrible error. If the system was overheating it would just shut off. Neither effects speed unless speedstep it on. I'm willing to bet jumb is correct.

And he was right, It was kaspersky, but I decided to enabled my HT, 4 threads are better than 2 xDD

As long as you don't use "lock threads to cores" you should be fine with HT on.
