Dolphin only reads one of my video cards: and it's the crappy one.

As I said, the GPU dependant settings are set to their minimum. If you beg me enough I'll test a game to see if it runs at full speed with an intel integrated GPU on my machine, which has a more dolphin friendly processor. If I get no FPS drops, the graphics aren't the bottleneck at those settings.

Actually, after some thinking, I've realised that this isn't a perfect experiment, but it may still help.

Doesn't matter. Dolphin only uses two cores (except with LLE to thread, where it uses 3), and doesn't benefit from hyperthreading. The speed is the main factor, as long as you are using intel.

Sooo should I overclock to like 2.7? X_x + if so, is it gonna mess up my laptop? o-o

The Intel Core i7 2670QM can use Intel's Turbo Boost to reach 3.1GHz, so the CPU shouldn't cause too much trouble. There's no need to OC your CPU. Intel has a program that can monitor Turbo Boost, in case you need to check to see that it's working as it should.

Well, my Intel Core i7-2670QM don't want to go over 2.8 GHz. The Temps are stable for a notebook (between 75-85 degree). maybe bad quality of my cpu?

Don't count turbo boost as an overclock: it will hit the maximum for about 45 seconds, and then will drop significantly lower. I am not an expert, so you will have to google the speed you can expect to sustain for turbo boost, and how long exactly (it may be significantly more or less than 45s) it can hold the maximum turbo boost.

my notice: When i start a game with Dolphin, the Turbo Boost speeds up my CPU to 2.9 GHz. 3-5 seconds later, the CPU stays constantly @ 2.8 GHz. But the Turbo Boost don't want to go over 2.8 GHz in Dual-Core mode. Even when the temperatures are raising to a very high level (like 90 degrees).

btw: same with Prime95
