Dolphin Online Play Help

Me and my friend both got Super Smash Bros. Melee downloaded, made sure they're the same version, have both our ports set to 6225, and still we can't connect to one another on the same version of dolphin. We've went through many tutorials, still no success so I figured I would go ahead and ask on here about how can we play Melee online with dolphin?
