Hi!

I tried to play NFS Most Wanted on my Xperia XZ1 Compact, but game is lagging. I tried multiple configs but the number of FPS didnt increase. XZ1 Compact have the same CPU like Mi6 where game runs smooth. Where is the problem?

Regards

You could try enablind "override emulated CPU clock speed" option, if you haven't, and use lower values such as 60% (most people use this). But be aware that lower clock values will make the framerate unstable in a CPU demanding game like this, find the highest value possible that makes the game playable.
PC: Core i5 3470 / GTX 660 2GB / 8GB DDR3 / Windows 10 Pro

Phone: Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB

The dissipation surface of your device is too small (thermaltrottling) and the limits imposed on the frequencies are restrictive.

But I can try to help you:

Dolphin.ini;
[Core]
AudioLatency = 128
EnableSignatureChecks = False
FastDiscSpeed = True
GFXBackend = Vulkan
Overclock = 0.509999990
OverclockEnable = True
ReducePollingRate = True
SyncOnSkipIdle = False

GFX.ini;
[Enhancements]
PostProcessingShader = FXAA
[Hacks]
EFBAccessEnable = False
EFBEmulateFormatChanges = False
EFBScaledCopy = True
EFBToTextureEnable = True
ImmediateXFBEnable = True
XFBToTextureEnable = True
[Settings]
ArbitraryMipmapDetection = False
BackendMultithreading = False
BitrateKbps = 2000
DisableCopyFilter = True
ForceTrueColor = True
InternalResolution = 1
MSAA = 0
SafeTextureCacheColorSamples = 128

Put these values in the respective ini files (and in the respective sections).

I set the 1X for your device (less heat and less underperformance CpU) but with the FXAA shader, which greatly enhances the scene.

Please don't suggest people to do things like enabling fast disc speed (which makes the performance worse) and disabling signature checks without explaining what that does.

Fastdisk is fine, UFS 2.0 fast memories, allow it, performance is not affected.

For signaturecheck: "This WAD has not been signed by Nintendo. Continue to import? "

Only a bore, not from problems of any sort, at least on Android.

My device mounts the same SoC of the XZ1.

The boy can try quietly.

I put these lines into dolphin.ini file like you wrote but I still have something around 4-5 FPS in race Sad
Should I install specified build maybe? Now I have build from Google Play.

I'm sorry, I can not do more than this.

the cpu sensor limit is 54/55° °, the cpu downclock from 1.4GHz to 800MHz (or however very low frequency))

The same problem has it with a PUBG, demanding game from the point of view of the compute.

If you really want to play with the device, you have to unlock bootloader, install TWRP and root.

[removed part of post because it was so unbelievably reckless and dangerous - Helios]

PS:

Of course, I can not talk to you in public, about what you could do once the root is done, which, incidentally, would not affect the normal use of the device (you would only have a temperature increase, with devices under stress/full load, because the frequencies, they are at their maximum potential)

If you want, you can contact me in PM, for any clarifications.

Yeah, I've tried to run it too on my Mi 6 with no success... I guess this is one of the games that won't run well until we get a faster SoC, as AFAIK even SD845 won't cut it....

It is interesting because on YT are videos where NFS Most Wanted is working pretty well on Mi6. Is it a fake or something?

I would like to have this frame rate. Sad

They use a lot of inaccurate and unstable settings to achieve that speed. It's why I delete most of their videos when they claim that a phone is good for playing Dolphin on.
