What does that comment have anything to do with the topic? I know a lot of people (myself included) feel Windows 8 RT has little to limited use, but you're not contributing anything to this discussion.
Dolphin on Windows RT. Is it possible?

I say it's easier than Android because of no need to new interface or new Video subsystem like OpenGL ES. But we still need to get a proper cpu emulation for RT, of course. Because windows RT has almost all windows API's just recompling for ARM works on most programs. No need to make a new interface, no need to make OpenGL ES, no bad drivers, no shitty dalvik VM, no Java. Only thing changed is Cpu archiecture and just using JitARM recompiler works. I don't have an RT tablet. But If I get one, then you can expect my branch. 10-22-2013, 03:21 AM
So why are you asking for a port then? That's the thing. Nobody has windows 8 RT. It was a colossal commercial failure. We don't have any users or devs with it to test stuff. Which is both why it won't happen and why nobody cares that it won't happen. When sales pick up (if they ever do) and people actually start using it then it might happen.

@Gir - I never said the OS wasn't a gimmick. I said you weren't contributing anything to this discussion. If the OP wants to run Dolphin on Windows RT, that's his/her own business. We're here discuss how feasible it is to get Dolphin to run under Windows RT, not if the OS itself is gimmick or not.

But I think I got the point, even it's easy work it's not worth it because there are no users to use it. I think I'm going to buy an intel one. 10-23-2013, 04:01 AM

Exactly. Windows 8 RT is only for ARM devices. Regular windows 8 is only for x86 devices. Win 8 tablets have had some commercial success, but not win 8 rt.

?????
Then why are you buying one?
