Question
I wanted to find a video showcasing Dolphin in single-core pure interpreter on a very powerful PC but nobody has ever made such a video. Sad

It would be really cool to see Dolphin running full speed on a bunch of games in one of "today's" most powerful computers in nearly the most accurate configuration excluding LLE/software rendering which would heavily impact performance, though it would be crazy to see that running full speed compared to the other rendering backends.

I don't think anyone can run pure single core interpreter at full speed. On my i7 6700k at 4.2 GHz I get around 6.50 FPS in the file select screen of Super Mario Sunshine and around 3 FPS in Delfino Plaza. Maybe a 8700k could scrap one or two more FPS but I don't think anyone could reach 30

007 Agent Underfire runs full speed (Sometimes) in-game on my iPad Pro 9.7 inch with pure interpreter and with dual core disabled.

007 Nightfire runs at half the speed in-game, thats with dual core disabled and with pure interpreter. (I'm using the Europe version, This games fps counter cut in half when overclocked to around 14)

Here's an image of 007 Nightfire (pure interpreter with dual core on) it's running full speed, but it's not consistent like how 007 Agent Underfire runs.

Hey that's not yet really playable, but impressive for sure. Maybe in 5 years we will be able to play some more light games flawlessly in interpreter. But I don't know if moore law is still really relevent on single core CPU performance...
From France with love.
