Hey guys.

I'm currently trying out Dolphin on my Nvidia Shield and am using one of the latest builds and can get some games to work.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a list of current compatible titles that will work on the Shield version of Dolphin?
I'm aware there's a compatibility list for games on the main site but to my understanding that's for windows and linux versions.

Thanks

The biggest issue with android compatibility is driver bugs, which will not affect you because you can use desktop opengl. There might be some arm jit bugs, but it is mostly on par with the x86 jit.

NVIDIA devices has the best compatibility within Android devices, you shouldn't worry aboult that as even non-NVIDIA chips have a good compatibility, very close to PC.
PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / GTX 660 2GB / 16GB DDR4 3600MHz / Windows 10 Pro

Phones: Poco F3 8/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

So are you saying that the games that are listed in the compatibility list will most likely run on the Shield and I can use that as a reference to see what games will work?

Yes. As I see on Youtube, a Snapdragon device runs most games with and almost no issues, Shield is closer to PC hardware, as it supports PC OpenGL and has PC-level quality GPU drivers, unlike Adreno. Anyway, which Shield device is yours? The old chip Tegra K1 maybe will have low performance because of slow CPU.

I've got the 2017 version of the Shield (16gb).

For some reason I thought it wasn't going to be able to run a lot of stuff. But then I realized I could run New Super Mario Bros for Wii and thought if it can run that then it should be able to run a bunch of Gamecube titles.

One thing though is I haven't really touched any of the settings yet in Dolphin so am unsure what I should do to get better performance.

So yours is the Shield TV, this device is one of the few android devices that run most heavy PPSSPP games at full speed, if you can't do this with OpenGL you'll do with Vulkan. You should try Vulkan on Dolphin too, but even with OpenGL you'll run games better than most Android phones.
