Dolphin on Android?

Tablets can already run dolphin. Well... not arm tablets.

Although there isn't a tablet that can run dolphin fullspeed(YET), the Transformer Book probably can run a few games full speed. I7 dual core, 4 gigs of ram, intel HD 4000(ugh). But it could run a few games.

I've always wondered... Are you able to fry one of these powerful tablets by running heavy software/benchmarks? I mean, the manufacturer would want a way to prevent that, specially because regular users don't care about temperature...
On android I can't see that happening, since there are no such apps.. But what about those running Windows?

IIRC, a number of ARM chips are designed to specifically not to generate a lot of heat due to their lower power consumption. That's one reason people like them for embedded systems.

Not to mention the temperatures that cpus/cpu packages can tolerate these days are so ridiculously high. Your hands would probably suffer first degree burns (or worse) first.

Intel will but they spend more 3x than Sammy which just released 32nm iPads a few months ago. $20 ARM SoCs aren't going to pay those new nodes at pace Xeons and Quadros will.

Everybody's investing on hardware that require less power.. Nobody invests on battery tech. I'm so fucking tired of lithium-ion batteries, they are basically what's holding further development of electric cars and robotic body members. Meh.
