I recently upgraded my graphics card from a GTX 680 to a 980, and immediately upon trying to start a game in Dolphin I'm presented with these two error messages; https://imgur.com/a/b2CCu
Clicking 'OK' on each message would just loop indefinitely, alternating between the two and generating more similar error dumps. I'm currently running on Dolphin version 4.0-4175. Another error message saying that my graphics card was trying to force MSAA also showed up, and there was some yellow text in the emulator window that said I had 4 levels of AA chosen (it was at 4xSSAA), but my GPU had 0 levels available.

Here's the text file 'bad_ps_0000.txt': http://paste.ubuntu.com/9127219/
And here's 'bad_ps_0001.txt': http://paste.ubuntu.com/9127252/

If it's important, the game I was trying to run was Project M 3.5. It was working perfectly fine on my previous GPU, as was every other game.

Try reinstalling GPU drivers, and choose "Clean Install"...

IIRC, Dolphin doesn't like it if you force any type of AA in the driver itself. If in your Nvidia options you have MSAA or SSAA or something set, turn it off and see if that's the issue here. Note that these AA options are different from the AA options Dolphin implements itself (through its Graphics menu). Dolphin is okay with those AA options, just not when your drivers try to dictate what to use.

Ah, thanks. There was a setting in the nVidia control panel that I changed, and that fixed the problem. Thanks!
