It worked the other day, but now everytime I double click dolphin.exe , nothing happens, and if there isn't one, a blank text file named exceptioninfo.txt is created. Dolphin doesn't even appear to run at all when I look in process explorer.
Please help

I have no idea what the problem is, but I can tell you that it is your PC's fault and not Dolphin's.

So dolphin crashes immediately when launching the program?
That usually means your processor doesn't support SSE2, thus you won't be able to run the emulator. Do you have an AMD Athlon XP by any chance? If so, you won't be able to use the emulator without forking over money for a new processor, or in most cases an entirely new system with modern hardware. But since this computer is a simple laptop from school, it doesn't even contain a graphics card, just an Intel HD chipset. Those specs are totally insufficient for achieving playable speed in any game.
