Hello all, I am running out of ideas here so I decided to sign up and seek help with this problem. I recently updated to Windows 11, and day one everything was fine, I was using dolphin like normal. Day two, now when I try to just open the emulator it doesn't work. I looked in my task manager, it will pop up briefly before vanishing. I have downloaded the developers and stable versions, and even then, the same problem occurs. If anyone knows what is happening here, any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Have you installed vJoy or any other "special" controller drivers? If so, try uninstalling them.

See if anything here helps: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-i-need-help-i-can-t-run-dev-version-of-dolphin?pid=524165
In particular, the Event Viewer crash reason might be useful. 05-17-2022, 08:58 PM
try after opening, go to Task Manager (esc+shift+ctrl)
And Press see more (or show more) goto background processes and search for Dolphin and Press End Task, This should kill the Dolphin Emulator Process, Then Re-Open the Emualtor. |
