Hello im here because im trying to play GameCube games on my PC. But im afraid i have run into a problem. While playing super smash bros, and perhaps 3 or 4 more GameCube games i experienced low frame rate jumping around from 24 all the way to 60 fps. This is really annoying especially when playing action games. I will list my specs below i hope you guys can tell me why its so slow or give me a solution. Also my specs are pretty decent and i am using a laptop.

Os: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Processor: AMD A8-4500M APU

Graphics: radeon hd 7640g

Ram: 4gb

Using latest dolphin version.

Your CPU is too slow . Unlike PC game , emulator demand a very fast CPU
A8 4500M is bottom line - low end CPU
If you want to play most games with latest Dolphin well (On some games , old Dolphin versions are faster than the latest) , you will need a faster CPU than mine

You can overclock mobile llano CPUs with k10stat but you can't overclock mobile Trinity CPUs
Mobile Trinity CPUs are locked down , you can't do anything except underclocking

Each game has its own settings and performance , you can't compare this game to the others
For Example : New Super Mario Bros can run fullspeed on most modern CPUs but i5 3570k @ 4.5GHz can't run The Last Story full speed
