fiercedeity316: SDL has been removed on Windows (for good reasons!), and you probably had your 'pad set up with SDL. Choose the XInput device in the GCPad/emulated Wii Remote "Devices" box.
Also, since I spent the time to find the link before rereading your post and figuring out the actual issue, install these again, just for fun. i installed it and it asked to to restart my computer to take effect so i did. but when i try to open the program i get an error:
the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)
so i tried to see if it would detect my controls again but nope.
