Once upon a time, I used a Mayflash adapter with Dolphin using Zadig to properly set it up, and it worked, easy.

However, today I updated Dolphin and tried to use the adapter once more, but even though Zadig said that the correct drivers were installed for the WUP-023 device, and Dolphin told me it detected an adapter, it didn't recognize the GameCube controller at all. I tried pressing a variety of buttons but the game didn't respond to any of them.

I'm at a loss of what to do. I've been trying to get Steam games to cooperate with the adapter, but they refuse to even recognize the adapter's existence. So far, Dolphin's the only one to sort of act like it's there.

Thanks for the help guys! I really appreciate it.

Is the controller inserted into port 1, and does the game you're playing in Dolphin support GameCube controllers?

Correct. The controller is plugged into the slot marked with 1 dot, and I've attempted to play Spyro: A Hero's Tail and Paper Mario TTYD, both with no luck.

(Sorry for the double post.)

I found that in my Device Manager, the laptop recognizes when the adapter's been plugged in and taken out, however if I start Dolphin with the adapter in, and take it out, Dolphin still considers the adapter "in".

So the issue definitely lies in Dolphin.

Here is two screenshots of the main controller setup, and the window that appears when you hit "Config" for the Wii U adapter option.

This is the link that'll take you to Imgur where I uploaded the two.

Update on the problem: Dolphin still refuses to accept the adapter but other controllers, such as a Wiimote, are confirmed to still work. What gives?

Have you tried reinstalling the drivers? What happens when you switch modes?

I have tried several times reinstalling the drivers, but it doesn't change much. I've even tried getting rid of the drivers altogether, then reinstalling new ones with Zadig, but no luck there.

I have also tried switching it to PC Mode, but then in the device list of Zadig "WUP-023" is no longer shown.
