Hi
Ive got a big problem.
Iam using cifsmanager to mount my nas to /mnt/cifs/ROMS

It ist Not possible to change this path because cifsmanager needs to mount it there because
or writepermissions.if i change the path to maybe /mnt/emulated/0/.... the mounted cifsfolder would be
empty with normal writepermissions.

My system:
Nvidia Shield 2017 16gb , Oreo 8.0
Dolphin 5.0.8512

Problem>> Dolphin only can see paths like mnt/emulated/0... must be emulated/0
Dolphin cant See before emulated...its Not possible inside the droplist for the databaselocation

I tried to Change für location inside dolphin.ini ...so path0= /mnt/cifs/... but dolphin did not recognize
It
So...ist there a way to force dolphin to accept a databaselocation at maybe /mnt/cifs/.. ?

Thx

Found the reason->> permissive mode was deactivated.

Dolphin only can see before /storage/. when permissive mode is activated.

why not just do the symlink under emulated/0/roms? I see no reason why the directory needs to be outside of the sdcard, many file manager support writing and maintaining data within that directory. CIF may not but android offers an API for write access, that would accomplish the same thing without having to disabled critical security features in the operating system.

I assume you mean "permissive" mode in selinux permissive mode?

All modern android phones use selinux tagged filesystems - I guess the cifs client doesn't correctly set this for these mounts? So it'll be blocked from access even if you have valid unix permissions, or any path based security.

Only the App "cifsmanager" ist doing the Job fine in Nvidia Shield Oreo.
Thats why i use only this way to mount my shares.

Ive tried about 10 ways...cifsmanager was the one Most comfortable.
Starting at Boot...mounting...done.
But Like i said->>cifsmanager hast to mount within mnt/cifs/..
I dont want to use Scripts to mount.
Finally i managed it.
Mountmanager/Scripts/whatever ->>>Not as good AS cifsmanager ob Nvidia Shield TV.

And yes .i mean permissive mode in selinux.
My Shield ist rooted and i have to Set permissive at booting automaticly with selinux.
So dir meine thats a good way nie.iam Happy xD.
