I'm having this problem with games in Dolphin that require motion, basically i'm having to point my wii mote away from my tv all the way to the right for the motion to pick up on the screen.

Here's a vid of the problem - http://youtu.be/j4ZZUbGULrg

In that vid the sensor bar at the top of the TV isn't plugged in, but it's the same when I have got it powered by my wii or when i'm using my wireless wii ultra sensor bar - http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/176858-P...0Black.jpg

I've tried typing in google for motion problems in Dolphin but all i'm coming across is motion plus issues which isn't what this is, i've tried other games like Mario Party 8 & Fragile Dreams and I still have to point my wii mote away from my TV for the motion to work. Any idea why my sensor bars aren't picking up with Dolphin, i've had a look through Dolphin to look for an option that may notice the sensor bar once toggled but I can't find anything. Help on this is would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Your Wiimote is what handles the Sensor bar, not dolphin. It's likely that your Wiimote is doing something stupid, or finding a light in the background and picking up the infrared from that.

Wow, can't believe it was that simple. The light in my room is whats interfering with the motion, works perfect now... guess I have to play in the dark then lol. Thanks JMC47

You can lower IR sensitivity in Dolphin wiimotes settings, I remember that worked, my wiimote was trying to calibrate with any light sources...
