Dolphin Mac OSX: Using Balance Board

I am using Dolphin on Mac OSX 10.8.

I am trying to connect the Balance Board, so I can use it with Wiifit Plus.

I press sync on the Balance Board and connect it via Wiimote menu. I know it is connected, because it appears in the Mac OSX bluetooth menu. Also, the flashing blue light on the Board becomes steady.

However, when I start Wiifit Plus, I get up to the screen which says "Press on button on the Balance Board".
I keep on pressing the button, but nothing happens.

I have tried pressing command + 5 to dis/connect the balance board. It says connected on Dolphin. However, if I press the home button on the Wiimote, I can see that Wiimote 4 is greyed out (on a real Wii, this is where the Balance Board would appear).

How can I get the game to recognize the board?

From what I have read on these boards, the Wii Fit / Balance Board combination has only been able to work successfully (thus far) on Linux.

I, too, use Mac, and have also been able to connect the Balance Board successfully to Mac OS X via Bluetooth (and use it with some specific apps, such as WiiScale), however not yet with Dolphin, although the devs look like they are making massive progress and compatibility will soon be on its way.

As for me, when I attempt to connect it to Dolphin, the blinking light turns off when I refresh connection, indicating there is some sort of communication between Dolphin and my Balance Board, just not the right kind.

So far, I have been testing the Board with some nightlies to see if I can somehow get it to work, and will report right away when I do.

Thanks for your very kind help!

I love using Wiifit to do exercises. However, the game wastes too much time with it's pointless chatter.
I would love to be able to run it on Dolphin. That way, I could just use save states to go straight to the exercises.
The Dolphin team are awesome, so I am sure they will get it working. Good luck to them!
