I've searched google like crazy trying to find an up to date thread from any forum on the perfect PC to build specifically for dolphin play.
This will be exclusively used for dolphin (/older console i.e. NES-N64) emulation through an hdmi cable to a 60" inch LCD TV (1080p using game mode to reduce lag game mode).
I would be super thankful if any knowledgeable forum member could help me out using http://pcpartpicker.com/ to send me a build.
budget is $500-$600...
Looking to be able to run most gamecube games at 1080p (4x native) with a consistent framerate.
(I'll be using dual shock 4 with the soon to be released USB receiver)
I'm using my imac now and it runs dolphin VERY well:
3.5 GHz Intel Core i7
2 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB
