Hi, I've been using Dolphin for a few months now and I've been able to run it amazingly. However, last night after unplugging my charger while playing, Dolphin started to lag. I can now only get around 20-30 Fps when running Dolphin on battery mode, this was never an issue before.
Things I've tried:
Configuring Dolphin in my GPU's Control Panel
Switching to High Performance mode (I've always been able to play fine on Balanced mode though...)
Setting Dolphin's priority to high
Switching from OpenGL to Direct3D and vice versa (Direct3D seems to be giving me somewhat better results, but in certain parts of the game it's lagging where it normally wouldn't. I've been able to use both just fine at first)
Checking what my CPU is running at when I run Dolphin. It's running at a reasonable rate and there's not much of a difference when I plug in the charger, yet the charger seems to make it not lag...
Lowering the graphics settings
Checking to see if PCSX2 runs normally, and for some reason it is. Dolphin's the only thing that seems to be acting up.
Deleting all Dolphin versions and getting them again
My GPU's driver was recently updated, and that actually improved a problem I had with 5886's exclusive fullscreen mode, and everything else seemed to be working fine. Other than that it ran beautifully for the past few months, until last night when I unplugged my charger while playing it. I'd rather not have to keep my laptop plugged in when it doesn't need charging just to play on Dolphin :/. Any solutions?
Windows 8.1 x64
Processor/CPU: Intel® Core i7-4700HQ CPU @2.40GHz 2.40GHz (Turbo boost to about 3.5, it seems to use it on battery mode too)
Video Card/GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 860m
Memory/RAM: 16.0 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 652 Netplay/5886
