Hi

I'm playing Xenoblade at full speed, but I've had a laggy sensation, specially when rotating the camera. Is it normal?

The fps never drop below 30.

Thanks

1. Pls provide your Dolphin settings. Always.
2. Give us more information about the problem
3. Don't create a thread for your problem, you had better write this in the official Xenoblade game thread
4. Read this -> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/announcements.php?aid=6

I reported this thread due to this reasons. kthxbye

And then: Try again. Smile

1. Standard settings

2. I explained the problem.

3. I have this problem in other games too.

4. Support - Simple questions and answers about Dolphin belong here.

I did nothing wrong, except for the english.

Well, okay. I want to be friendly and i give you a piece of advice. Wink (although this thread is filthy)

Check "OpenMP Texture Decoder" - This can reduce little lags.

Standard settings can mean anything.
We don't know anything about what you have done or could have done.
Just take screenshots of everything and it will facilitate things for us.

Takes a few minutes and makes a whole lot of differnece and makes everybody happy in the process.

I'm testing a Lectrode build. Improved compared to Filthy build.

The settings are okay, everything is fine. One thing: You could uncheck "Cache Display Lists" as this option can cause problems.

and you can try to check Lock Threads to Cores.

Wait wait wait, did I just see V-Sync enabled? Can't that cause these kind of symptoms or am I way out of my league here?

EDIT:

This is what it says on the http://www.dolphin-emu.org/configuration-explanation.html page

"V-Sync: Synchronisation of the rendered frames with the frames of the monitor (performance loss)."

EDIT 2:

I'll wait for someone that'll teach me a lesson, in the mean time this is my hunch...

The emulation is perfect now! Thanks, love you guys.

One more thing: "Lock Threads to Cores" increases performance only a few games, right?

OH...guess my hunch about V-Sync was wrong then.
