I have this weird bug making it impossible to use Dolphin.
I just updated to 4.0-690 to make sure the bug wasn't fixed, but first encountered it with 658-ish.
When I try to load a game or the Gamecube or Wii controller configuration screen, Dolphin freezes, then the memory usage skyrockets to several gigabytes, at a rate if around 0.8 gigabytes a second, grinding my computer to a halt while I scramble to Task Manager or Cmd to terminate Dolphin. This issue started after I switched to a new user account, but I experienced a similar issue before that.

Hmmm, my highest build is 608 on Arch, I'll build 690 and see what happens. I'll do the same on Windows. I'll report back if I can reproduce it. Sounds like a nasty memory leak.

4.0-658 was a translation update, so I bet this isn't the first broken one.

It might just be my computer. I just started getting the issue, and my computer is a piece of bug right now. I might reinstall because of so many problems (windows installer issues IPI files missing, Office 2013 won't install, etc).
I should reboot first, but there's stuff I'm doing that doesn't need Windows Installer or Office, and I can't get myself to reboot because it's too intrusive. Eg. now.

I posted a screenshot. Moments after taking the screenshot, I pressed Enter on my kill-Dolphin-cmd, but my computer still froze (interestingly with Task Manager saying my memory is 80-ish percent used down from the 99 in this screenshot). After attemting to kill Dolphin, my computer took a few minutes to start responding beyond mouse movements and keyboard lights changing, and Firefox remained frozen for a few minutes after the rest of the computer "recovered".

4.0-702 same problem, 4.0.2 stable too. It's a problem with my computer.
