Facing some issues in Dolphin both in the release and test candidate versions is that whenever I try to start dolphin with D3D, it crashes, it works fine on openGL but D3D always crashes.

System:

Core i5 5200u @2.2ghz (4CPUs)
Intel HD 5500 (2GB VRAM)
4GB DDR3 Ram
Windows 10 and DirectX 12

DirectX 12 and graphics card drivers are all updated to their latest revisions. Is there anything I'm missing ?

Game tested is MGS Twin Snakes, the company logos start off just fine, but when the game gets to the cut-scene with the submarine, as in as soon as the 'game' part starts, it always crashes.

snapshot attached.

If the crashes in reliability monitor reports Exception Code: c0000374 (Heap corruption)
Then the error is caused by the intel driver

The workaround is to use https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-ishiiruka-dolphin-custom-version?highlight=ishiiruka
Or to use the windows 8.1 drivers on windows 10

You're using an unsupported Dolphin version. If you want support you should update to the latest stable release (currently 5.0) or preferably the latest development version (currently at 5.0-11391), then try again. Report back if the problem persist on the supported versions...
