Hi All,

I have a specific problem that I'm hoping someone has some experience with? I have a LG V60 (Snapdragon 865) and am running Rogue Squadron II - Rogue Leader on Dolphin. Believe it or not, with the new MMU implementation in Dolphin, it runs VERY playable on most levels, with some levels running at full speed! However, I do have issues that I just can't seem to find solutions to. The below issues happen both on the latest official build of Dolphin as well as many of the unofficial forks with have included MMU support.

If I run the game on Vulkan, it is fast and does not crash, but it is missing some graphics that are essential to playing the game on certain levels such as when you use the targeting computer it won't outline enemy fighters so you can see them easily to take them down. This missing graphics issue also extends to you not being able to see the tow cable when trying to take down AT-AT's (not a big deal to see that, though), and also the icon on some levels when trying to switch ships (a bigger deal). I have tried all combinations of settings to try to restore the missing graphics on Vulkan with no success.

Switching to OpenGL restores the missing graphics. However, it ALWAYS crashes back to the game selection screen after playing the game for a few minutes. I also tried all combinations of settings to try to keep the game from crashing on OpenGL, also with no success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your time!

The Vulkan problem is most likely due to a lack of geometry shader support. If that's the case, there isn't really anything you can do about it while still using Vulkan. As for why OpenGL is crashing... I'm less sure.
