Dolphin isn't working?

I went to try Super Mario Galaxy 2 and i got the error "Trying to read from invalid SYSCONF" and it stopped responding so i shut it down now every time I open it i get this error. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I get the same error. Help please?? Sad

Have you tried the latest development version? (Not 5.0.)

still not working i downloaded an older version and gamecube games work but i still get the same error with wii games

Are you sure? "Trying to read from invalid SYSCONF" is not an actual error message in the latest version. (I rewrote SYSCONF handling and removed that message...) If you don't even bother trying it...

Maybe he mis-read it as older version? Anyway, PrincessCookie, you need to download the LATEST DEV RELEASE, which currently is 5.0-5796. Go to the download page and SCROLL DOWN to find it

Yeah I think he understood the latest dev build before 5.0.
