Hmm have you stressed tested after you went back to stock ? prime95?
any recent upgrade in drivers or bios's?

I'll definately check the processes priority in task manager, although I don't see how it woulsd have changed, this is a good idea.
Specs are x2 7750+ (2.71ghz) ,9600gt, 2gigs of ram.
Definately not corrupted iso's as that wouldn't just make the games slow it would break them.
Last night I played with all the settings to no avail. System was overclocked to 3.0ghz but I brought it back down to stock in an effort to fix this problem two nights ago. Temperatures are all fine (pleasantly cool infact, under 40 under load).
I'll try deleting the .dolphinx64wd file and then try different version of dolphin. And oh my god literally as I type this sentance I realise that maybe I have turned cool and quite on by accident when I reset my bios which would definately make sense if it was causing the problem.
Thanks alot guys especially Necorum I really hope I get home and find C&Q turned on in the BIOS that would be a relieving yet embarrissing moment
