Dolphin is reading my CPU wrong?

Whenever I start up Dolphin, it says I have 8 cores, two logical per physical.
I have a i5 4670k.

Is this normal? It feels like it's misjudging my CPU and underperforming as a result.

It's not, trust me. I believe that message was removed after a certain dev version because it was inaccurate.

It's under performing for other reasons.
