Dolphin is giving black screen and not detecting controllers.

I have the latest build of dolphin on android. The website says that the official gamecube adapter is supported by the android version but my dolphin won't even detect it. Also, it's giving me a black screen when I try running a game. Their is music playing however. The enhancement, hacks, and gamecube controller tabs are all blank as well.Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
