Dolphin is failing to write or overwrite files without admin rights

Hello everyone, I am going to be setting up Launchbox in the future, this is why I don't want to just allow dolphin to stay in needing admin mode forever because it would be obstructive if every time I launched a game I had to give admin rights.

I am not using Launchbox yet, this error happens when I open dolphin without admin rights. It failed to write into the FST file. I first looked into the FST file, and it seems to store the settings like where the ROMs are so that dolphin remembers in future runs, I thought I could just ignore it or delete it, but when opening a game a new error appears as well, "Failed to write BT.DINF to SYSCONF". Dolphin seems to be failing to write files without admin rights, is there anything I can do about that?

If you open Dolphin and press File > Open User Folder, are you taken to a folder that's inside OneDrive? If so, OneDrive is likely the cause of these problems. You can move the folder out of OneDrive by doing the following:

1. Open Dolphin and press File > Open User Folder.
2. Close Dolphin.
3. Go one level up from the "Dolphin Emulator" folder that was opened, then cut the "Dolphin Emulator" folder and place it in some other location (so that the "Dolphin Emulator" folder is no longer in Documents but you still have a copy of it).
4. Open Dolphin and press File > Open User Folder.
5. Close Dolphin.
6. The folder that was opened this time should be in AppData rather than in Documents. Replace the contents of this new "Dolphin Emulator" folder with the contents of your old "Dolphin Emulator" folder.
