Dolphin - Invalid ISO file ...

So I followed instructions on dumping my game file which was fairly easy and took a bit of time. Now after all my efforts and time consumption it gives me an error saying its an invalid ISO file. After it was dumped it was just .iso with no name in front of it so I renamed it the game I dumped to simcitycreator.iso and that didn't work either. Is there a step I missed? I used Friidump to dump my game. I tried using Rawdump but it wouldn't work for me so I ended up using Friidump.

Aside from my issue I don't even know if this is the right area to be posting this problem. If it isn't I apologies.

If anyone has a solution or any questions regarding anymore info I will try to answer to the best of my ability. I'm new to all of this so I might not know exactly what you are talking about.

Thanks~

You got a bad dump and have to dump the game again. Don't try to use Friidump's resume feature, as it doesn't work. If a dump fails before completing, you have to start over from the beginning. You can also try a slower dumping speed if the fastest one doesn't produce good dumps, but Friidump only works on discs in pristine condition.

Do you know any other programs I could use for dumping the game then? Rawdump doesn't want to read the disk. Well it reads it but ofc an error shows which is why I used Friidump. .-.

You sure you have a disc drive that works?

Probably not. Im not a disc drive professional so I wouldnt know for sure. Probably one of the main reasons why Rawdump doesn't want to work for me.

Friidump would tell you that you have an unsupported drive if it wasn't going to work at all, but there are some drive models that only work reliably for Wii disks or GC disks, but not both, and there are other niggles.

The most common way of dumping disks is using a softmodded Wii, using something like Cleanrip, as it's faster, more reliable, and a used Wii tends to be cheaper than a Rawdump/Friidump compatible drive.
