Video
I just recorded 4k in dolphin!
So why not make a video collection of it Smile

Q: Why 4k UHD resolution
A: Because that is the next hyped thing in PC Gaming and Emulation alike.

"Graphics setting i changed:
Fullscreen resolution: 4096x2304
Aspect Ratio: Force 16:9
Internal Resolution: 2x Native (1280x1056) (4x lags with recording)
AF Filter: 8x"

So what the gameplay in 4K or not? I'm confused

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_common_resolutions

2160p (4K UHD) 3840 × 2160 16:9 16:9 1:1 8,294,400
(WQUXGA) 3840 × 2400 8:5 8:5 1:1 9,216,000
(4K) 4096 × 2304 16:9 16:9 1:1 9,437,184

its a bit more then 4K its native 4K (9,4 Megapixel instead of 8,2 Megapixels so yea it's 4k)
so yes the gameplay is in 4k

If you're playing at 2xIR then it's not 4K

Technically, he isn't wrong. He still rendered the video at 4k.

The problem is, that Dolphin is actually just upscaling to 4k from 1280x1056. It's like hooking a PS4/Xbone up to a 4k monitor.

Also, are you using frap to record your video? It looked like you were not running full speed. Ever heard of Nvidia's shadow play?

i use shadowplay --' but 4k is just demanding?

@Anti Windwaker will be @ 4xIR since it seems a bit lighter for recroding + only runs @ 30fps

IIRC Shadowplay still works with OpenGL, but there's a performance loss compared to DX11.

Indeed OGL is not that great in a solid performance gain.
