Haven't seen a performance difference between the 420 AVX and AVX+OpenMP builds in SS and SMG either. Your SS fix does work, though. Was able to complete the first silent trial in DX11 without any crash. Builds run at a steady capped 30fps with LLE in 3x scale, and in 4x scale there are only a few stutters. It stutters a bit less often than the unoptimized build, but I'm probably at the performance ceiling anyway with my system so I can't say for sure whether the optimization makes a tremendous difference. Thanks for compiling these!

Any new builds coming? You used to post new builds fast and often.

Yeah sorry, hopefully within the next few days. Things have been real crazy for me the last week or two, plus I reinstalled windows so I need to install all my development tools again.

I am not sure if anyone discusses this already, but the down key in the Nunchuk seems to not be working correctly. It makes the char move forward instead of backward. I am using the revision 3.5-420 with Zelda SS fix.

Make sure "Sideways Wiimote" isn't enabled when you configure your Wiimote.

I left everything other than key mapping untouched by default, so no it is not enabled by default. The UP bottom moves forward, and the DOWN bottom also moves forward. LEFT and RIGHT have no issues.

Then something is indeed truly wrong with the builds provided by the OP. Using custom builds has fallen out of style around here. It's hard to prove that these builds provide any noticeable speedup over the official ones. No one is giving frequent updates anymore (this one is more recent, but DefenderX, vlad, and ExtremeDude2 all stopped months ago) which really hurts given all of the enhancements made in the latest official revisions. Unless the OP comes back to fix the issue with your build, I'd stick to the latest development revisions at http://dolphin-emu.org/download

I've got a very demanding test-scene in MPT/MP1 where my i7@3,4 GHz slows down considerably.

With OPs build I don't have any speed issues in this scene. It runs over 20% faster.

The only problem here is, that his builds are a bit outdated and come along with issues already fixed in 12xx-builds. In MP1 for example the sound effects are a 0,3 seconds off (very noticeable), which is fixed in the latest builds.

So thank you OP, this gives a good speed up and keep going on.

Sorry guys I haven't had the motivation to continue, especially after reinstalling windows, it's a lot of work to set up the build environment again (and I want to do it in a VM this time). I lost interest in Skyward Sword before finishing it, so my Wii interests have kinda plummeted. If I get some free time I'll try and make a new build (no promises, but maybe within the next 7 days).

Also regarding the nunchuk issues above, I'm not sure why that's happening - it worked fine with mine last time I used Dolphin.
