Hello there fine sirs and madames. I'm planning on building a home theater PC for general TV watching and emulation. Since building a machine which is Dolphin-capable means a price increase of about $200, I wanted to check with you guys to get your input about this build before I purchase anything.

I will most likely use RecalBox (64 bit) as the operating system. It is a Linux distro which focuses on emulation, and also includes Kodi / OSMC (incidentally, has anybody tried running Dolphin on RecalBox? Not a hardware question, but I'd be thankful for any insight on that).

My tentative build list is here: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/KRVw6X
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
GPU: Integrated graphics (on CPU) Intel HD Graphics 530

I've read that Dolphin is primarily CPU dependent, and that GPU performance is mostly tied to your display resolution. I will be outputting to a TV at 1920x1080 resolution.
I've also read that the HD 530 benchmarks pretty well. I'd like to get away with using only integrated graphics if that's possible, because I'm trying to build my HTPC as cool and quiet as possible.
What do you guys think? Is this build powerful enough to handle Dolphin?

At least, it won't do 1080p consistently.

Get a 750 ti, they run incredibly quiet because they don't draw much power.

Hd 530 can barely do 720p in some games let alone 1080p that's why I got a 750 ti for my htpc like helios recommended.

Do you guys think a GT 730 would be sufficient?
My options are limited by the size of my case.

Would a 750 TI really not fit? Aren't they low profile cards?

That's what I'm trying to determine.
I'm building it into this case:

PC Parts Picker only shows two compatible cards - I'll most likely choose this one then:

Alright, so I'll get a dedicated GPU.
Other than that, is my CPU choice sufficient for smooth gameplay?
